| Bruce,
I want to take the opportunity to thank you
for a great experience with you during my taxidermy
training. While taking the deer, turkey, bird and
life-size courses I had to be away from home a lot
of the summer but you and your family made me feel
very welcome. Training with you at Nature’s Canvas
not only met, but far surpassed my expectations. I
appreciate how thoroughly you explained and
demonstrated each process of the particular mount on
which we were working. I never felt rushed by any
time constraints and any question I had was answered
with a clear easy to follow explanation. After
finishing each class segment I came home knowing I
had received solid training. I really like how you
incorporated the business aspect of the taxidermy
business into the training. You gave good
information for anyone considering taxidermy as a
part-time or full-time career. I have heard many
people talk about their experiences in taxidermy
schools within large classroom settings and to me a
one-on-one training is the only way to go. I
searched many other taxidermy training programs
before choosing Nature’s Canvas; I am not
disappointed in my decision. I not only respect you
as an outstanding taxidermist and teacher but also
consider you a good friend. Again, thank you Bruce,
for a wonderful educational experience. Also, I hope
to enjoy another day of fishing on Lake Erie with
you, in the future. Please give my best to your
wonderful family.
Best Regards,
Eric Edwards |
Dear Bruce:
I really appreciate that you took so much time
to acquaint me with the art of taxidermy. You went
above and beyond my expectations. It is no wonder
that you have such a strong reputation in the
taxidermy profession. I feel I have learned a great
deal from you and would certainly enjoy working
again with you in the future. In addition to
demonstrating your skills in taxidermy, you also
demonstrated your strong work ethic,
professionalism, and high caliber of work. Your
attention to detail is unmatched. With the countless
demands on your time, I appreciate the time you
spent working with me. I would highly recommend your
taxidermy lessons to anyone wishing to learn the art
of taxidermy, or to the fellow taxidermist who
wishes to take a step above the "normal
taxidermist." Thanks again for all you have
taught me. I look forward to working with you in the
future.
Sincerely,

Dear Bruce,
I
want to thank you for all that you have done for me
and my future business. As you know I've looked long
and hard for the right person or school to teach and
guide me through the art and business of taxidermy.
You were the right person. I know others that chose to
go to one of the larger taxidermy schools and know
that they did not receive the one on one training that
you offer. When I first came to you for lessons you
took me in so to say and made me feel comfortable and
relaxed and I felt like I belonged. I knew that I made
the right choice. Not only did you teach me techniques
on mounting that I would not have learned anywhere
else, you also taught me the business end of
taxidermy. Watching you run your business while I was
there was a great thing to experience. I know I would
not have received that at a school. I've learned
things from you over the paste months that I know
others would not have taken the time or care to have
taught. Your professionalism and teaching skills are
unmatched. With the techniques in taxidermy and
business that I've learned I now have the confidence
in my skills and abilities to start my own taxidermy
business without the fear of failure. To me, and I'm
sure others you've taught, you are the best. I would,
without hesitation, recommend that anyone out there
looking to learn taxidermy come to you. You're not
only my teacher or mentor, but also a great friend.
Once again, I want to thank you for everything that
that you've done for me.
You're student/friend,
Tom Meyer |
